The omniverse is composed of an infinite collection of multiverses [branches] each containing large collections of parallel universes that each possess a timeline with a history. In a macro-sense we belong to a trans-world individual while in a micro-sense we travel along a timeline as individuals. We each journey along a timeline through an individual multiverse which is a branch of a much larger omniverse. The antropic principle is one attempt to explain this.
