Future moments are really a collection of alternate future moments until the future occurs.

The future is not one determinist situation, but a fluid pool of countless scenarios. Some will be actualized and some will not. Projecting ourselves into scenarios is how we project into the future. The future is made of many futures and the past is made of many pasts. We easily have as many futures as we do memories.

Scenarios provide contexts for options. You need to consider the possibility of more than one future as the ideas you will use to anticipate the future will frequently be defective. You are not omniscient.

In your imagination everything is possible that you can conceive of - but there in lies the problem - if you can't conceive of an option or scenario in your imagination then it isn't possible for you to act on it.

Until we experience tomorrow it is a what-if proposition.
